Completed renders of the same empty living room in NovaVerto, Collov AI and Virtual Staging AI, and a Spacely AI bedroom

Interior AI advertises a broad set of rendering and presentation features. My preference for NovaVerto comes from the everyday workflow: I can see the room, choose the next task and check its model and credit cost before I run it.

I’m a co-founder of NovaVerto. This comparison explains why I prefer its workflow, using the original September browser trial and the product review on 3 October.

Where NovaVerto makes the difference against Interior AI

I’ve chosen these comparison points specifically for Interior AI. The final column explains why each matters to my preference for NovaVerto; it does not treat an untested competitor feature as absent.

What matters in this comparisonNovaVertoInterior AIWhy it matters to my choice
Choose named models inside the projectYes — 11 model families, search, filters and visible credit costs.Advertised — Flux and Hyper Realism tied to plan tiers.I prefer an in-project picker with visible prices; Interior AI’s published model choices are organized around subscription tiers.
Reach targeted edits from the roomYes — Walls, floor, lighting, windows and doors in the inspector.Advertised — Editing, wall paint and lighting on Premium.NovaVerto’s wall, floor, lighting, window and door controls were directly visible in the workspace I inspected.
Start with the job I need nextYes — Touches → More tools: 28 tools within the project.Advertised — Design modes plus paid editing and presentation tools.More tools opens the task’s own settings from the current project, which is how I want to move between home-design jobs.
Set the room’s brief visuallyYes — Room, 23 styles, palette and budget; custom descriptions.Advertised — Room, mode, style and optional prompt.Room, style, palette and budget give me a consistent set of decisions before I generate.
Follow the original and its revisionsYes — Original plus version history, Hold for before and Compare.Advertised — Saved designs and a paid editor.I could inspect NovaVerto’s original, versions and comparison controls together; my Interior AI review did not reach a paid result.
Guide furniture placement with actual piecesYes — Reference images; up to four furniture pictures/catalogue pieces.Advertised — Custom style reference photo.I can pick catalogue items or furniture pictures before running the placement task, instead of stopping at a style reference.
Carry the design into a saved shopping listYes — Retailer matches and saved list; current Pieces/List UI inspected.Advertised — Google Lens on Premium; saved shopping list not checked.NovaVerto’s matching and saved-list workflow was tested. Interior AI lists Google Lens; I did not verify an equivalent list workflow there.
Inspect offers without losing the projectYes — Offers per piece, prices, list total and area re-selection.Paywalled — Paid access required to verify the offer/list workspace; email login opened subscription plans. The current Pieces and List panels put product offers, prices and the shortlist next to the design.
Budget for the next renderYes — Live credit estimate beside model, speed, size and variants.Advertised — Design allowances differ by plan and model.A displayed cost for the current setup helps me judge the next action, alongside the larger monthly allowance.
Select staging as a focused taskYes — Virtual Staging and Declutter & Repair in the tool picker.Advertised — Virtual staging on Premium.I found staging and clearing tools in NovaVerto’s picker; Interior AI places staging on its published Premium tier.
Move between indoor and outdoor jobsYes — Exterior, garden, outdoor planner, balcony and front door.Advertised — Exterior and garden design.I can use named garden, balcony and exterior tasks in the same product. Outdoor design itself is not exclusive to NovaVerto.
Extend the workflow into an assistantYes — Standard API; MCP; Enterprise pooled credits and roles.Paywalled — Paid access required for an account-level check; team/API capability remains unconfirmed.NovaVerto documents API and MCP access around the same design workflow; that is useful if I want to work through an AI assistant.

Tested = I ran it, in the September trial or the 3 October revisit. Seen / Not found (free plan) = what the free account showed on 3 October; not found there does not mean the paid product lacks it. Advertised = documented by the vendor, often on higher plans. Paywalled = my trial stopped at a subscription screen. Unconfirmed = I could not establish it either way. Edge = a specialist case where I would pick the competitor. NovaVerto’s column was checked in the logged-in app on 3 October. This is a workflow comparison, not a controlled image-quality score. NovaVerto in short

We built NovaVerto around the steps that come after “that room looks nice.” A new design starts with one of three routes, Redesign, Place furniture or Run a tool, and every run stays in the same project: the original photo, numbered versions, Hold for before and Compare.

More tools opens 28 focused tools from the room itself, from walls, floors, lighting, windows and doors to staging, decluttering, exterior, garden and balcony design. The model picker covers 11 model families with search, filters and the credit cost shown before I run: 65 credits for NovaVerto AI, 126 to 176 for the Gemini options at 1K.

After the render, Catalogue, Pieces and List turn the room into retailer offers with prices, a saved shortlist and its total. Placing furniture accepts up to four catalogue pieces or furniture pictures.

Interior AI: broad rendering claims, with the useful extras split by tier

Interior AI advertises room, exterior and garden concepts, sketch and SketchUp rendering, walkthrough videos and immersive worlds. It covers a lot of ground. Its current monthly cards list Pro at $49 for 1,000 designs, Premium at $99 for 5,000 and Ultra at $199 for 25,000. Editing, staging, wall painting and several presentation features appear on Premium. Interior AI features and pricing

I checked the email login again on 3 October. Its email link opened the Pro, Premium and Ultra subscription choices, each with a Subscribe button. I could not reach a free editor to inspect the offer/list workspace or team and API controls. Those entries are marked “Paid access required to verify”; the gate does not establish whether the features exist. I still cannot give you a firsthand Interior AI output-quality comparison.

My preference for NovaVerto is about how I choose and refine a result. The current model picker lets me see named alternatives and their credit costs in the project itself. The room’s brief and individual details are visible beside the image, and the shopping list is part of the same flow.

A large monthly allowance can look compelling, but I would compare the actual model and editing tools I intend to use. Interior AI’s entry plan explicitly uses a different model from its higher tiers. A headline image count doesn’t settle that decision.

Why I prefer NovaVerto: the current room workspace gives me a more useful basis for choosing the next render: the model, the job, the price and what I plan to buy.

What a NovaVerto render actually costs

The cheapest current NovaVerto render is 65 credits. The current Standard offer is $17.99 for the first month, then $24.99 per month, with 7,000 credits per month. I’m showing both rates so the introductory saving and the ongoing cost are clear. Annual discounts are not used in these calculations. NovaVerto pricing

Observed setupCredits$17.99 first month$24.99 regular month
NovaVerto AI · cheapest render65$0.17$0.23
Gemini · Fast · 1K126$0.32$0.45
Gemini · Balanced · 1K149$0.38$0.53
Gemini · Best · 1K176$0.45$0.63

Calculation: the monthly price ($17.99 introductory or $24.99 regular) ÷ 7,000 × the displayed credit cost. These are allocation estimates, not separate pay-per-image prices. They assume the allowance is fully used and exclude credits spent on other actions. At 65 credits, 7,000 credits cover 107 complete renders with 45 credits left; dividing the full month’s charge across those 107 renders rounds to $0.17 with the introductory offer or $0.23 at the regular price. The introductory rate applies to the first month, not every renewal. Other models, sizes and variant counts change the cost.

The current plan cards list watermark-free renders and API access on Standard. Pro is $49.99 monthly for 13,000 credits and includes 2K/4K output; those resolutions were disabled with a Pro requirement in the free account I inspected. One-off credit packs are also available, with a 30-day validity period. Plans and credit packs

Interior AI price context

This is the regular paid entry recorded in the September review. Interior AI’s monthly entry was reconfirmed on 3 October. NovaVerto’s table above separately shows the $17.99 first-month offer and $24.99 regular monthly price.

ToolReference paid entryApproximate unit cost on that basis
Interior AI$49/month / 1,000 entry-model designs$0.049 per entry-model design; editing/staging require higher tier

Credits, source photos and unlimited plans represent different units. Unit-cost estimates assume full use of the relevant allowance; they do not measure rendering quality.

Why I’d choose NovaVerto

I’d choose NovaVerto for the combination of visible model choices, structured room edits and furniture shopping. That is the workflow I could inspect directly; I did not complete a paid Interior AI render.

My starting point: use the 65-credit NovaVerto AI option for an initial direction, then explore the focused tools and furniture options around that result. At full allowance use, that is about $0.17 per render with the $17.99 first-month offer, or $0.23 at the regular $24.99 monthly price. Explore NovaVerto

Sources and what I actually checked

The original browser trials took place in September 2026. Interior AI’s email-login link was rechecked on 3 October and opened subscription pricing. Its private offer/list and team/API workflows remain unconfirmed, and I did not complete a render there. NovaVerto also had a completed redesign and a saved shopping-list item. Photos, modes and prompts differed, so these observations are not a controlled image-quality benchmark.

On 3 October I inspected NovaVerto’s logged-in project workspace, New project/New run dialogs, Touches and its 28 tools, focused wall settings, model picker, speed and size menus, furniture-placement controls, shopping panels and live pricing. No new render or paid purchase was submitted during that revisit.

Official product and pricing pages were checked again on 3 October. Controls I inspected, completed September actions and vendor-documented features are labelled separately. Older prices stay dated where current amounts were not verified.

Free-access follow-up, 3 October: The user-opened email login reached Pro, Premium and Ultra subscription cards with Subscribe buttons. A free editor was not accessible, so private shopping-list and team/API controls remain unverified behind that gate. No paid subscription or render was submitted.

Disclosure: I’m a co-founder of NovaVerto. The recommendation reflects my preferences and the workflow we’re building. Observed controls, earlier completed tests and vendor claims are distinguished throughout; access to a tool does not guarantee identical results across photos or models.
